Head of Client Partnerships

Serendia is an ISO-accredited construction management firm delivering high-quality projects across NSW and the ACT. Our portfolio spans Defence facilities, education and health infrastructure, commercial refurbishments, and luxury residential builds. With turnover already exceeding $10M and a bold vision to become a Tier 2 contractor by 2031, we combine the agility of a mid-tier builder with the systems and discipline of a national contractor.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive Serendia's growth across residential and commercial markets by identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities. You will lead all business development and client partnership activities-building relationships with Defence, government, and private clients, developing winning proposals, managing tenders, and overseeing smooth handover from pitch to project delivery.
This is a pivotal role in positioning Serendia as the partner of choice for technically complex and design-led projects across the ACT and beyond.
About YouYou will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline and bring 3-5+ years' proven success in B2B sales or business development within the construction, property, or professional services sectors.
You combine commercial acumen with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of translating client needs into winning proposals. You understand construction project delivery, have hands-on experience with tendering and negotiation, and thrive on turning prospects into long-term partnerships.
- Proven track record in securing new business through relationship-driven sales.
- Confident in developing and executing business development strategies across both residential and commercial sectors.
- Skilled in proposal writing, tender coordination, and contract negotiation.
- Highly motivated, commercially astute, and able to work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally with estimators, project managers, and operations teams.
- Build the client partnership function for a fast-growing, ISO-accredited construction firm.
- Work alongside a collaborative leadership team with direct input into business strategy.
- Shape Serendia's relationships with government, Defence, and private clients.
- Enjoy a competitive remuneration package, vehicle allowance, and professional development support.
- Be part of a high-performance, values-driven team known for integrity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
