Skilled Machinst

This is a full-time, onsite role for a Skilled Machinist located in Wangara, WA. You will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision components.

The role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, produce parts according to specifications, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.

While we are on the hunt for someone with exceptional technical abilities, we also want someone who will fit in well with a great team who we are proud of.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

· Operating 2 axis CNC Lathe.

· Operating 4 and 5 axis CNC Mills.

· Work to exacting tolerances.

· Mentor Apprentices.

· Help to maintain a clean, safe, happy, and reliable work environment.

Required Experience and Skills

· Trade Certificate/Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering.

· Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings.

· Experience with CNC and manual machines, tools and principals involved in the production of precision components.

· Personal dedication to producing work to a high level of quality.

· Be punctual, reliable, and a team player.

· Ability to work unsupervised.

· Strong work ethic.

Desired Experience and Skills

· Knowledge on Fanuc ISO programming CNC Lathe and Mill.

· Conversational Programming knowledge (Ezi guide i).

· Forklift ticket.

· First Aid Certificate.
