About the role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Level 3), you'll be an integral member of our multidisciplinary team - working alongside physiotherapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, discharge planners, and medical staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
You'll take the lead across the adult caseload, with opportunities to rotate through inpatient general medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and community settings. Your work will include:
- Providing assessment and intervention on hospital wards and in the community.
- Supporting safe, effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Conducting home visits for assessment, equipment prescription, and home modifications.
- Supervising and mentoring junior Occupational Therapists and the OT Assistant.
- Coordinating OT student placements and contributing to quality improvement projects.
About you
We're looking for a highly motivated clinician with advanced skills in neurology, general medical, and surgical caseloads, and a proven ability to work independently within a public hospital environment.
You'll bring:
- Strong clinical reasoning and case management skills.
- Experience supervising junior staff and contributing to service development.
- A collaborative approach and flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the adult caseload.
- (Desirable) Experience conducting NDIS functional assessments across a range of disabilities.
You'll also play an active role in shaping the department's direction, providing valuable feedback and insights to support service improvement and planning.

Requirements:
- Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- Current Driver's licence
