• Location: Parramatta with access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available

• Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 with base salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the Curriculum directorate
The Curriculum Directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform.

About the role
The role provides a range of high-level administrative and correspondence support to the unit to support and facilitate the delivery of business operations to agreed standards.

Key knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements

• Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one) 

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
