We are currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to contribute to complex civil projects within our East Coast business unit. The successful candidate will bring 5-8 years of experience primarily within in the mineral resources and mining non-process infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the end-to-end design, development, and verification of civil engineering solutions, including detailed designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for mineral resources and mining non-process infrastructure.
  • Focus on ensuring robust design solutions and their integrity, while contributing to high-quality technical documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, representing Wave International in project meetings and site inspections.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 5-8 years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background focused on mining or resources.
  • Proven technical expertise in civil engineering design principles, including proficiency in design software and design verification processes specific to the resource sector.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation, such as detailed engineering reports and specifications, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience manging clients, contractors, and internal multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with Australian mining regulations and standards (e.g., QLD Coal Mining Safety and Health Act).
  • RPEQ Certification advantageous but not mandatory.
