About the Role

This role delivers our award-winning adventure marine tours exploring the stunning Whitsundays. Working across our specifically designed fleet, this role is focused on delivering an exceptional and informative snorkeling experience for all guests that is one to remember. Along with your skipper this role will ensure that quality and safety are paramount to the experience and above all don't forget the fun

About You

We are looking for a passionate deckhand, snorkel supervisor & tour guide (preferably with local knowledge) who thrive in the outdoors and marine environment. Who enjoy being surrounded by people and are customer focused to provide the best tours possible for our guests. if this sounds like you? you would have:

  • A focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests
  • A passion for nature and the ocean and sharing that with others
  • The ability to engage in and lead our tours with energy, enthusiasm and fun
  • A commitment to ensuring quality and safety

Essential

  • Previous experience working on boats in a similar environment
  • Coxswain NC3
  • Current O2 and First Aid, Min ESS (Elements of shipboard safety) or above, Bronze Medallion
  • Min Age requirement 18

Desirable

  • Multilingual ( Chinese highly desirable)
  • Dive Master Qualifications
  • Previous ECO tour guiding experience
  • Qualifications in Marine Biology or related disciplines
  • Accredited master Reef Guide
  • Accredited Savannah Guide
