ELICOS Teacher

• Effective day to day and face to face delivery of ELICOS programs
• Monitoring of documentation of daily teaching delivery, student attendance, participation and the recording of assessment results to ensure all aspects of the program meet compliance requirements
• Teaching classes on a regular basis and covering teacher absences
• Ensuring student academic performance and student satisfaction are maximised
• Solving problems and promptly actioning on identified issues or queries
• Create and build a positive, can-do environment that motivates staff and students.

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree and TESOL qualifications
• Familiar with English File Edition 4
• At least three years' experience in teaching
• Expertise in current digital teaching technologies and resources, curriculum and materials development
• Experience using learning management and student management systems
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to remain flexible and agile to meet organisational needs
• Strong management and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage, motivate, challenge and performance manage staff and build positive relationships with students
• Ability to assess student language skills and implement actions to address student learning needs
• Full understanding of ELICOS industry regulatory frameworks and standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
