Financial Crime Analytics Manager

Financial Crime Analytics (FCA) is responsible for the maintenance of and enhancements to the Group's AML and Sanctions systems by way of data analytics, modelling and continual systems optimisation and support .

We are responsible for analysing financial crime and customer data, implementing detection strategies which mitigate risk and prevent financial crime.

We support financial crime technology projects, including inputs into business requirements, solution design, and testing and change management.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the development and application of monitoring systems to ensure maximum detection.

• Managing projects and provide analysis and data driven solutions to stakeholders that aim to help the business understand and manage risk

• Producing clear and concise documentation

• Providing insights into trends and anomalies - including root cause analysis

• Designing and develop performance reports for senior stakeholders

• Completing relevant activities throughout model governance lifecycle to ensure monitoring systems meet group standards

• Liaising with project, technology and Financial Crime Compliance to prioritise tasks and ensure delivery timelines are met

• Working productively together with your team to meet deadlines and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Experience in a data analytics environment, having worked with large and complex datasets with tools such as SAS and SQL

• Experience developing reports using tools such as Tableau, Shiny, Power BI

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience managing working relationships with business stakeholders

• Knowledge and experience in financial crime or risk management in financial services is highly regarded

• Experience with R or Python is advantageous
