Founded by Managing Director Ryan Quade, Qspec has built its reputation on empathy, integrity, and excellence — balancing commercial strength with a deep sense of purpose. With a talented team, strong systems, and clear growth strategy, we're now seeking a General Manager to continue this journey.

As General Manager, you'll lead and optimise day-to-day operations across Construction, Administration, and Operations (Finance & Scheduling) — ensuring efficiency, alignment, and accountability across the business.

You'll inherit a well-structured organisation with robust systems for budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and reporting. Over the next 12–18 months, you'll partner closely with the MD through a structured induction and transition plan — setting you up to truly own and drive the business.

• Lead and manage daily operations across service delivery, admin, quoting, scheduling, and finance.
• Drive performance through structure, systems, and data — using dashboards and metrics to enhance outcomes.
• Oversee financial performance, reporting, and job margins, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
• Coach and develop middle management to lift capability and accountability across teams.
• Champion Qspec's culture — fostering trust, communication, and collaboration between trades and office.
• Partner with the MD on strategic initiatives, expansion, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and safety standards uphold Qspec's reputation for excellence.

You're a high-performing, emotionally intelligent leader with the ability to inspire, align, and elevate teams. You thrive in fast-paced, operationally complex environments and bring both commercial sharpness and human warmth to your leadership.

You might come from construction, operations, healthcare, or a completely different industry — what matters most is your mindset.

• Proven experience in senior operational or general management roles.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Outstanding people leadership and communication skills.
• A hands-on yet strategic mindset — able to zoom in and out with ease.

• Experience or interest in construction, healthcare, or NDIS/homecare sectors (desirable).
