The Role
We're seeking a Plumber/Handyperson to provide high-quality maintenance and repair services across a variety of client sites. You'll partner with our clients and the BGIS team to deliver reliable, compliant, and customer-focused hydraulic and general maintenance services. The role includes planned and reactive maintenance, plumbing installations, hydraulic equipment repairs, and general building maintenance to support BGIS's technical operations.

What You'll Be Doing
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing and hydraulic systems
• Install, repair, and maintain hot water systems (gas, electric, and solar), TMVs, and backflow devices
• Perform general building maintenance tasks outside your core trade where required
• Mentor and support apprentices as part of team development
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors when necessary
• Respond to after-hours callouts as part of a roster
• Maintain compliance with BGIS quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Provide excellent service to clients and ensure work is completed efficiently and professionally
Your Education, Experience & Skills
• Certificate III in Plumbing (minimum qualification)
• 1–5 years' experience in a similar plumbing or hydraulic maintenance role
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Current manual driver's licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Multi-trade capability (e.g. general maintenance, handyperson duties) desirable
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
