This is a rare opportunity to lead high-impact safety programs across a broad regional footprint, working with a forward-thinking team in a high-performing environment.

About the Opportunity

Based in Brisbane, the WHS Manager will report to the Head of WHS - APAC and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and enhancing workplace health and safety programs across multiple sites in the region. You will work closely with site teams, regional leadership and operational stakeholders to embed best practice systems and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a high-profile role that offers visibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference across a world-class organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of WHS programs across APAC sites

  • Design and embed WHS systems aligned with corporate strategy and local legislation

  • Conduct compliance audits and support corrective action implementation

  • Build WHS capability through coaching, training and stakeholder engagement

  • Lead or support incident investigations and risk assessments

  • Monitor key performance metrics and report on WHS program effectiveness

  • Partner with operational teams to ensure safety is embedded in daily practice

  • Support the Head of WHS in strategic planning and program execution

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in WHS roles, ideally within high-risk or complex industries

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation across Australia and APAC

  • Experience managing multi-site or regional safety programs

  • Proven ability to influence, coach and engage stakeholders across all levels

  • High attention to detail, strong project management and reporting skills
