Senior Occupational Therapist - Head to Health Kids HubChild & Family Youth Services Directorate

About the role

New service. New team. New approach.
You're invited to take a lead role.

The Head to Health Kids Hub is a new community based service providing mental health and wellbeing support for children up to the age of 12 years with mild to moderate emotional, behavioural and mental health challenges, and their families. This new service is part of a nation-wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government.

Located in Orange with satellite services in Bathurst, we'll be using flexible and creative approaches to increase the well-being and functioning of our clients, guided by a new model of care within a multidisciplinary framework.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist at the Head to Health Kids Hub, you'll use your occupational therapy skills to work individually and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality assessment, case formulation and treatment to children and families.

You'll be extending your clinical scope by providing support to children, families and carers in multiple settings with a flexible, solution focused approach to your practice.

As well as your clinical role, you'll use your expertise to help shape the future direction of a new and dynamic service and build capacity in the community.

This is a temporarily funded position until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension subject to funding.
