QTP Electrician

Workfast is seeking an experienced QTP Electrician / Supervisor to join our client's team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full time role with the opportunity to work both onsite and from home, providing compliance oversight and auditing support across the residential and commercial solar and battery sector.

We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented professional who is confident managing compliance, performing site inspections, and ensuring that all electrical works meet QLD standards. The successful candidate will also act as the registered nominee with QLD Fair Trading, so current registration or eligibility is ESSENTIAL.

• $70 – $75 per hour + superannuation
• Monday to Friday – 40-hour week (7/8am to 4pm, flexible)
• Hybrid work environment – split between home and North Sydney office

• Current QTP / Electrical Supervisor Licence (QLD)
• Willingness and eligibility to register as the company's QLD nominee with Fair Trading - MUST
• Strong understanding of compliance and safety requirements in the residential and commercial solar industry
• Experience in auditing, inspections, and quality assurance
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Right to work in Australia and available for an immediate start

• Acting as the QLD Fair Trading registered nominee for the company
• Conducting site visits and compliance inspections
• Performing audits and ensuring all electrical work meets regulatory standards
• Reviewing documentation and verifying installation quality
• Providing technical advice and guidance to field teams
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement in safety and compliance practices
