About the role

TrailerWorks' is seeking multiple talented tradespeople, including diesel fitters, to join our thriving manufacturing operation in Charlton, Queensland. This is a full-time opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the continued growth and success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks to the highest standards

  • Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to complete jobs accurately

  • Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Conducting repairs and maintenance on diesel engines and equipment, as appropriate for diesel fitters

  • Inspecting work to identify and resolve any quality issues

  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and on-time delivery

  • Continually seeking ways to improve processes and increase productivity

What we're looking for

  • Formal trade qualifications in welding, boilermaking, and/or diesel fitting, or a related field

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar manufacturing, fabrication, or diesel fitting role

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to workplace health and safety

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
