We are looking for an exceptional and compassionate Pet Care Specialist – Transport/ all-rounder who is committed and willing to 'go the extra mile' for our families. This role will have a majority focus on the Transport Division where you will responsible for providing compassionate home and vet collection services whilst travelling across Perth and Peel Regions. You will play a pivotal role in the caring and aftercare for our client's deceased pets with the diversity to assist in all divisions of Passing Paws.

Our staff are committed and compassionate animal lovers who look after our clients' needs in pet aftercare. This can be a physical and emotional role in which you will always be required to handle with maturity and professionalism. We are looking for a person who has;

  • A team player attitude with an empathetic and caring nature.
  • Demonstrated honest, reliable, ethical, caring, and professional manner.
  • Previous customer service experience with exceptional telephone manner and etiquette.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Genuine respect for deceased pets and their family's needs.
  • Empathy and compassion to animal welfare.
  • An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional manner.
  • Physically fit and able to lift deceased pets with correct safe lifting and handling techniques.
  • Proven understanding of and commitment to OHS practices which ensure a safe and healthy working environment for staff and the public.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn new electronic systems.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written skills with the ability to communicate with a culturally diverse range of people.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work, use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and take on coaching and feedback openly.
  • You are resilient and have the ability to demonstrate this through managing complex situations.
  • Australian Citizen and at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid "C" Class drivers' licence.
  • "LR" class licence favourable, but not necessary.
