H&j Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced FULL-TIME COOK to join Mr.H Cafe and Bar in Balmain, Sydney

About the Role: This is a full-time and ongoing position available for a qualified COOK who an demonstrate strong culinary skills and commitment to long-term employment. The successful candidate will work across two distinct service styles.

Mr.H cafe and Bar serve a refined Australian cafe menu, complemented by weekly specials featuring a Asian twist. Our kitchen producing a selection of house-made dessert that reflect both traditional and contemporary influences.

On weekend evening , Mr.H is planing to transform into a vibrant dining destination offering Korean fusion cuisine, where innovative flavors and elegant presentation come together in a modern relaxed setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Preparation, execution of all menu items to consistently high standard
  • Maintain and manage all kitchen equipment a clean and sanitary condition
  • Assist in managing stock, inventory and supplier relations

Requirement:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a cook

    (including more than 2 years of Asian cuisine experiences.)
  • Korean cuisine experience is strongly preferred for the Asian cuisine component
  • Strong knowledge and experience of modern western cuisine
  • Experiences in Dessert section and/or Korean cuisine is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Commitment to excellence , reliability and teamwork
  • Must be available for rotating shift patterns including weekend morning and evening service
  • Candidates with Australian work rights
