Workshop Supervisor

Access Services Group, part of Access Group Australia, is a major provider of service, sales, and support to the Australian sales and rental equipment industry.

We specialise in the maintenance and repair of all types of equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, lighting towers, and generators supplied by world-leading brands such as Genie, JLG, Merlo, and Globe Power.

Due to our rapid growth, we are in need of a dedicated Workshop Supervisor with excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills to join our ever-expanding Queensland Team.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and the roles and responsibilities will include:

• Creating, modifying and managing our daily production and out-of-service schedules.
• Coordinating production operations in line with material, labour and equipment availability.
• Recommending practical solutions to reduce production costs and improve processes and product quality.
• Adjusting production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
• Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
• Promptly informing relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
• Managing the out-of-service list and keeping Insphire up to date to reflect current activity.
• Accountability for all workshop activities, including the administration of service requests through service team.
• Managing the Field Service team, including rostering, job allocation and on-site coordination.
• Overseeing Field Service dispatch and priorities to meet SLAs, ensure safety compliance and keep customers updated.
• Accountability of commercial management In and out of goods and sales.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have;

• Mechanical background, trade qualifications are essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supervisor positions, e.g. Foreman 2IC, Team leader will also be considered
• Experience in working with apprentices and driving outcomes etc.
• Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills.
• The ability to effectively work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, prioritise work, and be self-motivated
• A friendly and positive can-do attitude
• A strong commitment to OH&S
