MC Truck Driver/ Farm Hand

Kurilda Ag is seeking a full time MC driver to join our team in one of 2 Kenworths, mainly A Double combination, some B Double work, float and side tipper work. The role involves transporting grain off farm with local deliveries, Port of Brisbane runs and western pick ups along with harvest work. Home most nights.

House and/or work ute available to the right applicant.

Kurilda Ag is a family owned and operated broadacre grain farm/grain handling business, we pride ourselves in running an innovative and efficient operation with a high focus on every job being completed in house where possible, including fabricating our own machinery. We provide various grain handling services.

Location: Bongeen/ Mt Tyson on the Darling Downs

Duties within the role include:

  • Loading and unloading of grain
  • Transporting to various grain facilities
  • Transporting grain during harvest
  • Transporting machinery/equipment
  • Workshop duties including truck/machinery maintenance and occasional farm work

Desirable Attributes:

  • Confident truck and equipment operator
  • Capable of working in a team & independently
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Honest and reliable
  • Attention to detail, able to identlfy maintenance requirements (service pit on site)

Salary package including a work ute to be negotiated based on agreed work hours and experience.
