About the Role

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to support our AFLW program and help our players perform at their best. This role is contracted as a Consultant for 15-20 hours per week until 31 December 2025, and plays a key part in injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and player wellbeing.

Working closely with medical, sports science, and coaching staff, you will deliver high-quality care that empowers players to reach their potential and fosters a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physiotherapy services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for AFLW players.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and load management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with coaches, medical and performance staff to ensure integrated player care.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to medical reporting processes.
  • Build trusted relationships with players, coaches, and staff to positively shape Club culture.

What You'll Bring

We welcome diverse experiences and perspectives. Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or similar, and current AHPRA registration.
  • Masters of Sports Physiotherapy highly desirable
  • Experience in sports physiotherapy, ideally within elite or high-performance environments.
  • Skills in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and load management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
  • Current ABN, plus Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Commitment to professional integrity, with ability to obtain Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
