About the role
MSS Security is looking for an experienced Control Room Operator to join our Security Operations Centre team at a leading banking precinct in Brisbane's CBD. This role offers the chance to work with advanced technology, supporting essential infrastructure and a large security team across several key sites.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure continuous surveillance and early detection of security risks.
Respond swiftly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating appropriately.
Liaise with emergency services to coordinate incident responses.
Conduct regular testing and maintenance of security systems to ensure optimal performance.
Compile detailed reports and ensure compliance with site-specific security protocols.
Maintain clear and professional communication across all channels.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
CCTV experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in a security control room and frontline security operations.
Requirements
Full Australian working rights.
Availability for a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
Valid Queensland Security Licence with control room endorsement.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
Full Queensland Driver Licence
