The Role:
We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie or Sous Chef — to join our kitchen team at Gather. You'll contribute to creating high-quality dishes, from club classics to innovative menus, serving our diverse clientele with flair and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute seasonal and event-driven menus

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen in line with food safety regulations

  • Support inventory management and cost control to align with operational goals

  • Deliver exceptional dining experiences for club members and guests

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience at as a Chef De Parite or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen (hospitality or club experience a plus)

  • Passion for culinary creativity and commitment to quality

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to busy service periods

  • Strong team player with effective communication skills

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert III in Commercial Cookery) preferred but not essential for entry-level roles

  • Knowledge of Australian food safety standards and cost management practices
