Able Community Support Services are urgently seeking mature-aged Male and Female support workers to provide assistance to participants requiring immediate support. The ideal candidates will be compassionate, patient, and have experience working with individuals needing complex care.

  • Deliver individualised support services in accordance with participant care plans and NDIS goals.
  • Assist participants with personal care tasks (e.g., showering, dressing, toileting) while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Support participants to access and engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using safe manual handling practices.
  • Support participants with medication prompts and health-related activities
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation (e.g., shift notes, incident reports).
  • Monitor and report changes in participant health, wellbeing, or circumstances to supervisors.
  • Promote participant choice, control, and independence in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and comply with privacy and confidentiality obligations.
  • Required to be available to do sleepover shift when needed.
  • Availability for 24/7 shift coverage is required for this casual position.
