We are partnering with a large-scale national infrastructure project to recruit an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for an immediate start. This role will support a high-profile infrastructure development program and offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work shaping Australia's future freight and logistics network. 

About the Role

As the HR Business Partner, you will provide end-to-end HR support across a project-focused workforce. You'll work closely with operational leaders and project teams to deliver practical HR advice, manage Employee Relations matters, support people planning activities, and contribute to a positive and high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide generalist HR support and advisory services to managers and employees
  • Manage and support employee relations matters, including performance and conduct processes
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment coordination, and onboarding activities
  • Contribute to HR reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with leadership to drive engagement, development, and organisational change initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with HR frameworks, industrial instruments, and legislative obligations

About You:

  • Previous experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ER/IR processes
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
  • Hands-on, practical HR approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or government programs desirable
