About the role:

The Wagga Wagga Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing rehabilitation services across Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and specific Outreach locations. 

The Occupational Therapist will be working in a range of settings including the community, as part of the Acute Rehabilitation Team providing mobile rehabilitation on the acute wards of the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and in a specific Outreach Rehabilitation Service location. 

The Occupational Therapist will provide goal-based, person-centred rehabilitation that is guided by evidence-based practice. This Occupational Therapist will be providing clinic-based, home-based and virtual service delivery.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  1. Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  2. knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability in Occupational Therapy practice to provide patient-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services across a range of clinical areas.
  3. high level and effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  4. Evidence of a Class C drivers licence and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
