About the role

Join the team at Galaxy Hub Logistics' as a full-time Truck Driver based in Derrimut, Victoria. This critical role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across metropolitan and regional areas. You will play a key part in ensuring our clients' orders are fulfilled on time and in pristine condition.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate prime mover with sideloader from the wharf.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle logs, records and documentation as required
  • Adhere to all applicable road rules, traffic regulations and workplace safety policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients, warehouse staff and dispatch
  • Assist with loading/unloading of vehicles as needed

What we're looking for

  • A current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
  • At least 3 years' experience as a professional truck driver, with 3 years sideloader experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of road rules, safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
