About this role

We are seeking experienced cleaners to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be providing cleaning services to clients.

You will be expected to:

  • Perform general and all cleaning duties including but not limited to:

o Full Kitchen

o Full Bathrooms

o Bedrooms

o Dusting

o Vacuuming

o Mopping

o Laundry

o Window cleaning

o Linen Changing etc.

  • Work in accordance with the organisation's vision, mission, values, ethical framework, and code of conduct.
  • Assist, develop and build on participants independence when performing activities of daily living where appropriate.
  • Where and if appropriate, work and collaborate with any internal or external multidisciplinary team who provide direct or indirect support to participants of KOOKI.

Essential criteria

  • Current NDIS Worker's Screening Check (or willing to apply)
  • Current Police Check (or willing to apply)
  • Current WWWC (or willing to apply)
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to apply)
  • Own a vehicle
  • Driver's License (minimum P1)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic level writing skills to document tasks performed
  • Prior experience in cleaning or related fields

Desirable criteria

  • Own equipment (not mandatory)
  • Relevant certificate
