Position: Dog Groomer

Employment Type: Casual / Part-time (approx. 20–30 hours per week, with opportunity to increase)

About Us

At My Pet Stop, we pride ourselves on being a one-stop destination for pet lovers. Our services include retail, aquariums, a pet wash station, and grooming. We are now seeking an experienced Dog Groomer who shares our love for animals and dedication to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full dog grooming services, including breed-specific clips, wash & blow-dry, scissoring, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and hygiene clips
• Ensure pets are groomed safely and comfortably, handling all dogs with care and patience
• Communicate clearly with owners about grooming needs, coat condition, and aftercare advice
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the grooming area
• Work efficiently to meet appointment schedules
• Support a positive, welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' professional dog grooming experience (salon or mobile)
• Strong skills in clipping, scissoring, and styling across a variety of breeds
• Confident in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends as required

Job Type: Fixed term

Pay: $24.95 – $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
