We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Partner to play a key role in the development and optimisation of our Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems. This position is central to ensuring trading requirements are delivered seamlessly – from deal capture through to risk monitoring, reporting, and settlement.

If you have strong knowledge of energy or financial markets, advanced technical capability, and proven project management skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a high-profile role.

What you'll be doing

  • End-to-end ownership of trading processes – oversee system requirements from trade capture through to settlement.
  • Requirements capture & project delivery – gather and document requirements across front, middle, and back-office teams, then deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Risk monitoring & reporting – support and enhance tools to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Systems & process improvement – identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, control, and automation.
  • Stakeholder engagement – act as the key link between trading, risk, settlement, IT, and external ETRM providers.

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Engineering, IT, or similar.
  • Strong experience in energy markets (preferred) or financial markets.
  • Advanced IT skills, with knowledge of trading systems, risk tools, and reporting platforms. Experience with Energy One ETRM is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated project management capability, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end trade processes.
