About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team at Purpose Care Services. In this part-time/casual role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our elderly and disabled clients in the home, in the Ridgewood WA 6030 and Craigie WA 6025 area.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Providing companionship and engaging clients in social and recreational activities
  • Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team
  • Advocating for clients' needs and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in aged or disability care, either in a professional or personal capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using hoists, however, training will be provided.
  • A drivers license is essential.
