Crawfords is seeking an experienced and trade qualified Auto Electrician / HV Mechanic to join our Sandgate team on a permanent full-time basis.

About Us

Crawfords Freightlines (Crawfords) is a privately owned and operated company that provides integrated intermodal freight transportation services operating in road, rail and warehousing. Crawfords operate a network of depots across Eastern Australia.

We have an opportunity for an experienced trade qualified Auto Electrician / HV Mechanic to join our afternoon shift team. The position is based at our Sandgate depot and will be responsible for diagnostics and repair of trucks, trailers and mobile plant. This work will include standard electrical items including lights, fridges, isolators, and invertors to complex datalink integration on our fleet. We also have apprentice opportunities available for those that are not Trade Qualified.

About you:

  • Experience in repairs and maintenance on American and European vehicles, trailers and container handling equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Present well and be punctual to work
  • Understanding and practice of WHS requirements
  • Current Drivers licence or ability to obtain a HR licence
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain
  • The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and random Drug & Alcohol testing
