About the Role
As a Kitchen Steward your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and moving crockery, cutlery, equipment, pots and pans

• Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organisation of kitchen, fridge, cool room and dry store areas

• Taking out rubbish, boxes and maintaining safety of all kitchen areas

• Refilling/restocking bain-marie, sanitisers, dishwashers, ice wells and canteen areas

• Other kitchen housekeeping activities as directed

Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial kitchen or similar environment

• Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail

• Professional attitude and good communication skills

• Ability to work in a physical role (lift, pull and push up to 20kg)

• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

• Awareness of Occupational Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures

• Flexibility to work on weekdays/weekends and holidays

• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
