Lucien Baked Goods require a Chef

We require a chef de partie for our busy cafe style patisserie based in Parramatta.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a busy environment.
  • Must have full Australian work rights.
  • Experience in serious food orientated environments.
  • Must have bakery/patisserie experience is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Able to regularly work weekends.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Not be afraid to take orders and service tables as required.
  • Service a dedicated section; serve meals with a high standard of attention to detail and consistency.
  • Misé en place: Prepare stock items to recipes, stock portions appropriately to ensure fresh product and speed of service.
  • Inform shortages of stocked items and unprepared goods, assist in appropriate ordering for the volume of service.
  • Clear the section, pack, then restock for the following service, scrub down and ensure kitchen areas are clean and organized.

This role would suit a hospitality professional looking for a better work life balance. Planned work hours for this role would be a variable roster requiring only daytime hours. Competitive remuneration will be offered commensurate with experience and ability.
