**Do you have experience in Civil Construction, particularly with electrical pits and conduits? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of civil works projects with Brisbane City Council.

Nightshift hours from 1830 to 0430 at 4 day weeks

Hours are paid at T1.5 for the first 3 and T2.0 thereafter

Duration: 3 month contract**

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled individual to assist with civil works for the Council's Traffic Network Services team. You will play a key role in ensuring strict adherence to WHS practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting and working from site plans and drawings.
  • Concreting/Formwork duties.
  • Reporting to TNS Supervisors and Team Leaders.
  • Assisting with the removal or replacement of traffic signal and communication pits containing bonded asbestos around electrical and fibre optic cables.
  • Assisting with the installation of traffic signal footings.
  • Conducting remediation works, including pit replacements and upgrades.

What You'll Need to Excel:

  • Pit & Pipe experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Asbestos Removal Ticket.
  • A minimum of a C-Class driver's license (MR License highly advantageous).
  • White Card.
  • Civil construction experience.
