Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an experienced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Operator to join our team supporting a high-profile aviation client. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing electronic building drawings, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to support facilities management and property development activities.

Working closely with stakeholders, you will coordinate updates from project works, conduct site verifications, and integrate new plans in line with strict standards and workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with both internal teams and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update CAD drawings for all client properties, ensuring compliance with naming conventions and standards
• Respond to drawing requests within agreed timeframes and consolidate data into centralised systems
• Conduct area investigations for verification, measurement, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with internal teams, design consultants, and subcontractors to integrate new and updated plans
• Manage workflow processes for drawing requests, archiving, and syncing with client platforms
• Participate in meetings and spatial data projects, preparing progress and compliance reports
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity

Essential Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in CAD drafting or data management within a property, facilities, or construction environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT (2026 or similar), MS SharePoint, and Procore
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow naming conventions
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing role
• Valid driver's licence and ability to conduct occasional site visits

Desirable

• Experience within the aviation industry or corporate real estate environment
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles
• Experience improving CAD workflows and data management processes
