Young's Earthmoving/Karijini Civil and Mining is a family Owner/Operator contractor who has provided value-added earthmoving services to various Tier 1 mining clients for over 30 years within remote areas of Western Australia.

The Opportunity:

We're expanding our team in the Pilbara region and are currently seeking Watercart and Moxy Operators. If you're safety-focused or considering a career change, this is a great opportunity to join our growing team.

Roster - Willing to work a 2:1 or 2:2 Roster.

Duties:

  • Experience operating or working with plant and heavy machinery in the road maintenance or rehabilitation industry or have an aptitude and desire to work in the industry
  • Genuine commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Basic equipment and vehicle maintenance
  • Follow client and company procedures to ensure high standard of work

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Current HR Driver's License
  • Nationally accredited Tickets
  • Proven ability to complete minor mechanical maintenance.
  • Valid National Police Clearance >6months old
  • Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Rehabilitation experience preferable for Pilbara projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to all safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to assess and apply practical judgement.
  • Willingness to be flexible.
  • Good Housekeeping of supplied vehicles and equipment.
