Workfast is seeking a Water Cart Operator to join our client based in Bayswater, WA.
This role will see you operating MR auto water trucks to maintain parks, ovals, gardens, and trees across the city, with the chance to be part of a reliable and collaborative outdoor crew.
What You Get
- $40.00 per hour + penalties
- Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (penalties after 8 hours worked)
- 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off (unpaid)
- Depot facilities including showers, lockers, tea/coffee, and occasional BBQ breakfasts
- Secure, ongoing role with variety in daily tasks
What You Need
- Current MR Licence minimum (HR and above encouraged to apply)
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and willing to assist with basic labouring tasks when required
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a 7000L MR auto watering truck across streets and reserves
- Using truck-mounted cannons and hoses to water trees and landscapes
- Operating a ute (C Manual) with a 1000L water trailer when required
- Using basic hand tools to support daily maintenance tasks
- Navigating routes and completing daily task lists independently
- Performing occasional grounds labouring duties when trucks are unavailable
