The Projects Division within SABE Services Group has an exciting new opportunity to join the team as a HVAC&R Estimator.

We are currently looking for reliable and efficient individuals who hold the personal and technical attributes to build strong and mutually respectful relationships both internally and within our customer base.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in estimating for HVAC Industry
  • Reviewing tender documents and collection of data for cost estimates
  • Exposure to Government and Local Council tender opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to develop ongoing working relationships with our client base
  • Current drivers licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with collection of data for cost estimates, quantities and pricing
  • Attend site inspections and identify site specific conditions and their impact on project costs and program
  • Assist in preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for various HVAC projects
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate material, labour, and equipment cost estimates based on project plans and specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of tender deliverables including project programs, methodologies and capability statements.
  • Align estimates with project objectives and client expectations by collaborating with the project management team
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitive and accurate bids
