About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the
People & Culture Manager
plays a pivotal role in driving workforce culture, engagement, and capability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing recruitment, employee relations, engagement, and L&D
  • Leading and mentoring the People & Culture team
  • Building positive, professional stakeholder relationships
  • Driving retention and workforce wellbeing strategies
  • Overseeing WHS and workplace injury management
  • Aligning operational goals with Torbay's vision and values

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR leader with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, business, or a related discipline
  • 3 - 5+ years' generalist HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and performance management
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor teams
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence

Experience with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission will be a bonus.
