Role Description
This is a full-time position, for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter. The Fire Sprinkler Fitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sprinkler systems, hydrant and hose reel systems, fire pumps and water storage tanks. Day-to-day tasks include working with various tools, ensuring life safety systems are properly installed and tested as per AS1851 standards. Attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience with Wet Fire Systems.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of Life Safety regulations and standards
- Skills in installation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certification or licensing in fire protection is beneficial
- Prior experience in the fire protection industry is a plus
