About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gyprocker to join our team at Anchor Ceilings' in Albany and the Great Southern Region, Western Australia. As a Gyprocker, you will play a critical role in the installation and finishing of plasterboard products to the highest standards, contributing to the successful delivery of our residential construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately measure, cut, and install plasterboard to walls and ceilings
2. Prepare and finish plasterboard joints, angles, and corners to a high-quality standard
3. Liaise with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and ensure efficient project delivery
4. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all health and safety protocols
5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and techniques

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Gyprocker, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the construction industry
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
3. Effective communication and teamwork skills
4. C class drivers license, vehicle and tools
