About the role

Willow & White Bridal and Formal is seeking an experienced part-time Bridal Seamstress/Alterations professional to join our team in East Gosford, NSW. As a member of our talented alteration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients look and feel their absolute best on their special day.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a wide range of alterations and tailoring services on bridal gowns and formal dresses
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and providing expert guidance on fit and styling
  • Conducting fittings, pinning, marking, and altering garments with precision
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Effectively communicating with the wider team to coordinate alterations and delivery schedules

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress, particularly in the bridal and formal wear industry
  • Exceptional sewing, fitting, and alterations skills with the ability to work with a wide range of delicate fabrics
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate client requirements into flawless alterations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A keen eye for design and the ability to offer styling advice to clients
  • Flexible days/hours to work part-time 3 days a week including Saturdays
