Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Domain Holdings Australia Limited Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We shine a light on all things property. Our business aims to simplify the property journey for all involved; motivated by expertise and our exclusive data. Changing the way people engage with property requires a team of diverse thinkers.

We're on an exciting journey. With our recent acquisition by CoStar Group, we're entering a new phase of growth and transformation — and data is at the heart of it. As part of this evolution, we're expanding our business intelligence and analytics capability, and we're looking for a motivated Analytics Engineer to join our team.

This isn't just another BI role. You'll be at the core of building a modern, scalable data ecosystem — turning raw data into powerful insights that shape decisions across the business.

What you'll do
  • Model & Transform Data – Build robust data models and transformation pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.

  • Power Insights – Develop and optimise the curated data sets that fuel our BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

  • Ensure Trust in Data – Automate data quality tests and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Automate & Optimise – Use Python and SQL to streamline processes, build scripts, and enable faster insights.

  • Partner with the Business – Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Support AI & Advanced Analytics – Contribute to our AI chatbot and other emerging data initiatives.

What we're looking for
  • 3+ years' experience as a BI Developer / Analytics Engineer or similar.

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake + DBT (essential).

  • Skilled in SQL and confident in Python for automation and analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

  • Comfortable engaging with business stakeholders and balancing both technical delivery + business impact.

  • Nice to have if you've worked with Streamlit or have exposure to ML concepts.

What success looks like

Within your first 6–12 months, you'll have:

  • Delivered clean, scalable data models that underpin critical dashboards and reports.

  • Helped evolve our AI chatbot and contributed to its growth across the business.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders who see you as a go-to partner for insights.

  • Played a part in transforming our BI capability into a forward-looking, analytics-driven function.

Why Join Us:

We're the right size business for you to make a real impact, with a workplace culture where you can be you. Perks of the role include:

  • Be part of a growth story: with new investment and backing, we're scaling up fast and building a best-in-class data function.

  • Our much-loved approach to flexible hybrid working.

  • Mentoring and leadership programs, with access to Learning & Development tools;

  • First rate parental leave and support for working parents;

  • Small, collaborative team where your ideas are heard and your work is seen.

What's Next?

We'll give your application the thoughtful attention it deserves and get back to you as soon as possible. If there's a match, one of our recruitment consultants will reach out—so keep your phone handy We're genuinely excited about the chance to work together and make a meaningful impact.
