About the role

We are currently experiencing sales growth and expansion and have an exciting opportunity within our Quality team for an Entry level QC Operator afternoon shift 1pm-9pm.

Help us produce products meeting Earlee Products, safety, quality, productivity and MIFOT standards.

Day to Day responsibilities

• Promote and demonstrate Earlee Products WH&S policies, culture, values, and mission.
• Ensure compliance activities are conducted as per standard of work while adhering to all food safety and quality standards on site.
• Hands on food lab focused role testing samples of finished products received from Wet and Dry Production team. This includes ensuring required checks are compliant and obtaining samples from production areas for testing as required.
• Maintaining the approved production batches record in Earlee Products food safety management web-based Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform Organoleptic test and laboratory tests like pH, viscosity, gluten testing, water activity and other tests that may be required.
• Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment. Ensuring stock levels of consumables are maintained. Confirm/conduct pre-operational checks in the lab to maintain Good Hygiene Practices.
• Liase with external lab to send microbiological testing samples, interpret results to release finished products.
• Complete certificates of analysis (COA) against supplier specification for finished products.
• Raise non-conformances for finished product batches that are out of specification, escalate them to QA Manager, Despatch Supervisor, relevant Production Supervisor & Managers. Ensure follow up and close out of Non-conformances.
• Maintenance of Retention samples of Finished products.
• Lead Shelf-life verification and validation studies. Completion of Shelf-life extensions as requested by customers/ internal stakeholders.
• Assist with verification audits to support QMS. Conduct internal audits related to finished product evaluation.
• Assist during external regulatory and customer audits.

• Previous experience not necessary as this is an Entry Level
