Our client is a leader in AML/CTF audit and consultancy services, supporting businesses across a range of industries to understand and meet their AML regulatory obligations in both Australia & New Zealand.

With impressive growth over recent years, they've expanded their client base and extended their services into new locations. They're now seeking a new consultant to join their tight-knit team in a junior to intermediate position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing comprehensive AML compliance programs tailored to client needs.
  • Support gap analyses and enhancements to existing AML frameworks.
  • Participate in detailed AML risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure client AML programs comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Help develop and enhance transaction monitoring systems and procedures.
  • Assist in investigations of suspicious activities and prepare reports.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to educate client staff on AML best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to provide strategic insights and practical solutions to AML challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.

About You:

  • A strong interest in AML compliance and financial crime prevention.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in AML, compliance, or financial services is a plus but not essential.
  • A degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
