Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia's leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking a motivated Draftsperson Cadet to join our high-performing team in Norwest NSW.
This entry-level role is designed for aspiring Drafters looking to build a rewarding career in residential plan documentation. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you'll learn to prepare accurate architectural drawings and documentation, supporting the design and delivery of high-quality homes.
What you'll do:
- Assist our Drafting Team processing working drawings and documentation for residential projects
- Assist our Drafting Team with scheduling, communication & overflow drawing tasks
- Learn to ensure your drawings meet compliance, buildability, and customer requirements
- Support drafting reviews and help resolve design or compliance issues under supervision
- Collaborate with Sales, Design, Estimating, and Construction teams to understand workflows
- Maintain organised digital records and learn industry-standard drafting procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement by embracing feedback and development opportunities
About you
- Completed or currently studying a related qualification in Building Design, Architecture, or similar
- Highly organized with strong ability to multitask
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of drafting principles and construction documentation
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit (training provided)
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for learning
- Organised, motivated, and eager to develop your career in residential design
