As the Uniform Shop Convenor, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the school uniform shop by ensuring a wide range of uniforms is available at reasonable prices for the school community.

Additionally, you will coordinate and support a network of community volunteers to deliver a high-quality service.

This role reports to the Canteen Supervisor and School Business Manager.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.47FTE), 36 hours per fortnight.

About the Role

As the Uniform Shop Convenor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's uniform shop. You will manage stock, coordinate volunteers, and maintain a high standard of service to meet the needs of the school community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the school's dress code standards by providing a range of uniforms at reasonable prices.
  • Managing and coordinating uniform shop volunteers, including creating rosters and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Monitoring shop procedures to deliver efficient and effective services for the school and its Parents and Citizens' Association.
  • Liaising with suppliers to manage stock levels, storage, and rotation, and conducting monthly stocktakes.
  • Participating in budget development and maintaining the security of the uniform shop.

This role would suit an organised and community-focused individual who is passionate about supporting students and their families.
