About the Common Area Gardener role and about you

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gardener to join our Customers - Homes and Places team.  If you enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in creating beautiful landscapes, we want to hear from you.

You will be a key part of a wider maintenance service team to maintain our common area grounds to a high standard. Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • pressure washing common areas and patching and painting bin bays
  • making over blocks by trimming trees, edging, hedging, mulching and weeding
  • when necessary, back filling another maintenance team member across Sydney to maintain waste services, bin rotations and responding to garbage chute blockages and lawn mowing.
  • support the In-House Maintenance Team undertaking minor repairs

This position is a permanent full-time positionbased at St Leonards, Redfern and across the SGCH portfolio locations with travel to other SGCH locations as required.
