About the Role

QUADRA is seeking a skilled, values-aligned
Lead Practitioner
to join our multidisciplinary team. This role supports school-aged neurodiverse learners across QUADRA's service pathways, using an evidence-based, neuro-affirming, and behaviour-analytic approach. This role is suited to a Registered Teacher with experience supporting neurodiverse learners of primary school age.

You will be responsible for high-quality instruction, program oversight, data-informed decision making, and collaboration with families and allied professionals. This is a hands-on role combining direct work with learners and leadership responsibilities within a small, supportive team.

We work closely with families to deliver services in 9 week blocks that align with the school term, and expect full time staff members to work an additional 2 weeks per term for planning and professional development opportunities. The role includes 8 weeks of annual leave per year, to be taken during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Practice & Program Delivery

  • Plan, deliver, and review structured, evidence-based learning programs.
  • Differentiate tasks to support a wide range of abilities, including emergent learners and students with complex needs.
  • Maintain clear lesson plans, goals, and progress documentation.

Data & Review

  • Conduct ongoing assessment, progress monitoring, and mastery checks.
  • Use QUADRA systems to record data and inform program adjustments.
  • Contribute to Individual Learning Plans and Behaviour Support Plans in collaboration with Clinical Supervisors.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Program Assistants and team members to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Provide on-site guidance, feedback, and modelling for staff.
  • Communicate professionally with families during scheduled times.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional learning.
  • Engage in ongoing personal professional learning
  • Engage in and model reflective practice for all team members.

Professional Practice

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
  • Uphold QUADRA's values of dignity, collaboration, and research-to-practice.
  • Follow all policies relating to safeguarding, duty of care, and data protection.
  • Engage in ongoing personal professional learning to promote best practices.

Position Details

  • 0.8 FTE salaried position
  • Clinic Hours: 10:00am–3:00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • Ocasional Saturdays: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • A portion of weekly hours is allocated to planning, documentation, meetings, and preparation (DOTT).
  • Salary Range: $85k - $110k (pro-rata) depending on experience.

Essential Requirements

  • Registration with TRBWA
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience working with neurodiverse children
  • Strong classroom and behaviour support skills
  • Ability to plan and differentiate instruction for primary-aged learners

Desirable

  • Experience supporting complex behaviour in group settings
  • Experience supervising or coordinating staff
  • Experience working with gifted or twice-exceptional learners

  • This is not a remote suitable role. The successful applicant must be able to be on-site for service delivery (central location)
