The Opportunity

We're looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help drive the next phase of the venue's growth.

This isn't a role for a food tinkerer—it's for a systems-oriented, people-first leader who can manage high volumes, control costs, and develop an engaged, high-performing team.

You'll work closely with our Executive Chef on menu development, but your real focus will be on leadership, kitchen operations, and building a tight-knit brigade that thrives under pressure—especially during our busy summer months.

Your Role Includes:

Leading a high-volume kitchen with a focus on quality and consistency

Training, coaching, and mentoring your team to build a strong culture

Managing food and labour costs with precision

Working closely with senior leadership and being part of a collaborative, supportive team

Playing a key role in planning for growth, events, and seasonal peaks

Who We're Looking For

• A natural leader with a passion for people and team development

• Someone who trains, mentors, and inspires high-performing teams

• Business-minded with a proven track record of hitting KPIs

• Experienced in both à la carte service and high-volume functions

• Skilled in managing labour and food costs

• Experience with Cooking the Books or online rostering tools (a plus)

• Customer-focused with a positive, solutions-driven mindset
