The Opportunity:

Due to further expansion and growth, we're looking for experienced Switchboard Electricians to join our Kewdale workshop. Reporting to the Electrical Workshop Supervisor, you will take a hands-on role assembling, wiring, testing, and occasionally commissioning custom-built switchboards and control systems.

This role suits an experienced electrician with strong switchboard or panel-build experience and an eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·      Assemble, wire, and test LV switchboards, distribution boards, PLCs, VSDs, MCCs, and control panels.

·      Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and GA drawings.

·      Complete high-quality wiring, terminations, and copper busbar installation.

·      Conduct equipment testing, fault-finding, and documentation to Australian Standards.

·      Work with engineering and design teams to resolve technical queries.

·      Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

·      Support team and management to meet project deadlines.

Key requirements:

·      A-Grade WA Electrical Licence (desirable; essential for some roles).

·      Proven experience in switchboard/panel building – preferred.

·      Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

·      High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

·      Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

·      Valid WA driver's licence and reliable transport.

·      Forklift licence, modular system experience – advantageous.

·      Strong troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills.
